Pathways is a digital, multi-language, global peer mentorship platform. The platform gives youth access to a group of AKF certified, ambitious, talented peers. Youth can understand various career paths, define their goals, set a plan, and navigate challenges with their mentor.
Feature 1:
Pathways solution begins with a pre-assessment where the youth is directed through a basic questionnaire to build their profile. This includes understanding their skills, interests, and motivation for joining the platform.
Feature 2:
Before being matched with a mentor, the youth is asked to begin exploring the career pathways (potentially integrated with Alison) and selecting a few that they would like to dig deeper with their mentor. Youth could even sort these careers by the skills they selected in the first step.

Both the mentor and mentee are given access to a digital workbook. This workbook includes several modules that must be completed over the course of five 1:1 sessions. Sample modules might include:

The last phase is access to virtual group workshops where the youth can discuss their chosen career path, understand how to be the best in that field, and learn how the future will impact my chosen career. These talks, workshops, or events can be organised with the help of local partners, volunteer speakers, etc. While a global audience can attend or host these virtual group sessions, the purpose is for them to be slightly more tailored to the needs and questions of each local context.
